Need a quick and easy appetizer that is delicious and will get raves? I’ve got it!

cranberry cream cheese appetizer

Cranberry Cream Cheese Appetizer

1 cup chopped pecans (or any other nuts like walnuts, almonds, etc.)

1 cup dried cranberries (also called Craisins)

1/2 cup brown sugar

4-5  Tablespoons of orange juice

1 package of cream cheese (8 0z) (can use reg., low fat, or fat free)

Allow cream cheese to soften. Put on serving plate and shape into desired area. (I prefer it not too thick.)

Mix together the first four ingredients in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir. Microwave another 20 seconds.

Pour over cream cheese.

Serve with crackers.
